Schell's Bock Fest
trip is SOLD OUT
Join Worth Brewing Company for
Schell’s Bock Fest Feb. 18. We have chartered a coach bus for a trip to
New Ulm for Schell’s famous outdoor Bock Fest.
Details:
Event itself: Schell’s Brewery
grounds—11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday Feb. 18, 2012.
Cost: $40
Includes:
Breakfast buffet at Worth Brewing Company Tap Room from 8 to 8:45 a.m.
Bus leaves at 8:45 a.m. to arrive in New Ulm by 11. There may be some
coffee stout on the bus. Advance ticket—Because we have purchased
tickets in advanced, you’ll walk by the half-mile line to get to the
advance ticket entrance
Bus leaves promptly at 4:45 p.m. returning to Worth Brewing Company
around 6:30.
What to bring:
*Warm footwear and clothing (everything is outside—you can always leave
clothing on the bus if it’s warm)
*Glassware: Beer is sold in plastic pints—best to order two or more at a
time and pour into your authentic Liters (WBC plastic liters from
Oktoberfest will be ideal if you have one—we don’t have any for
sale—glass is okay if you want to deal with it).
*Headwear: costumes and, ideally, festive headwear is encouraged. Any
ideas for a theme?
*Money: for beer and food ($20 coupons) I think they were $3 glasses
last year. Cash only.
*Identification: No one under 21 on the trip, please. You must show
your ID at the gate to enter the fest grounds.
Drink responsibly—especially if you’re
driving home from Northwood.
Payment info: Advance payment
required. You may pay with a credit card over the phone (leave a message
and call back number if I’m not in) 641-324-9899. You don’t have a
reservation until you’ve paid.
Cancellation policy: Full refund by Feb. 11th if the trip is
full. If not, only $10 (for the advanced ticket) will be refunded (we
can always sell a ticket to some poor sap in line).
Weather cancellation policy: TBA,
although the event itself shine or snowstorm.
