Mr. Chesterfield–released Nov 21

Strong Scotch Ale

Mr. Chesterfield comes in from the cold the day after Thanksgiving each year and takes up a seat near the bar.  His personality is a bit different each holiday season, but he’s always a full-bodied Englishman (he says he’s just “big-boned”).
He’s a malty, mellow and satisfying pub mate who spreads good cheer, but quickly leaves after the New Year’s festivities. Get some on tap Nov 25.

Each year we brew a strong dark Belgian ale, ready to be enjoyed over several year vintages. Our 2020 is dark brown with a malty aroma. Higher alcohol is tempered by the sweet German and Belgian malts.

This hearty ale features a complex mix of flavors highlighted by malt, tempered by candi sugar, with fruitiness derived from the yeast.  We alternate releases between Blondhilde, a Belgian Tripel, and Brunhilde, a Belgian Strong Dark.
